At MEDIOMUNDO, led by Marta Pelegrín and Fernando Pérez, we conceive exhibition architecture as a process of research, innovation, and sustainability. Our intervention in the exhibition “Audiosfera: Social Sound Art 1980-2020” at the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía is a clear example of this philosophy.
We led the adaptation of the third-floor galleries, the design of prototypes for listening and enjoying music, as well as the installation and direction of the exhibition set-up. The project included developing a strategy for recycling and reusing each piece, material studies, and the creation of immersive environments through exceptional assembly and lighting.
In addition, we developed and implemented a mobile application and an integrated content system for the exhibition, enabling interaction and access to the sound experience from iOS and Android devices. This innovative work was recognised with the Award for Best Architectural Design 2021-22 by the Official College of Architects of Seville (COAS), reinforcing our commitment to experimentation, sustainability, and excellence in exhibition design.
At MEDIOMUNDO, we are committed to interventions that transform the cultural experience, integrating technology, sustainability, and a contemporary perspective on art and architecture.
